Description

Perelandra, the second book in C.S. Lewis’s Space Trilogy, continues the adventures of Dr. Ransom. Pitted against the destructive influence of temptation, Ransom must battle evil on a new planet – Parelandra – when a dark force invades it. The malevolent being strives to create a new world order and must destroy an old and beautiful civilization to do so. But Parelandra has a chance to throw off the yoke of corruption and achieve a spiritual perfection that Earth, the “Silent Planet,” missed out on.
