Description
United States Catholic Catechism for Adults is the local or national catechism for the United States. It plays the same role (but doesn’t necessarily replace) the Baltimore Catechism
The universal Catechism of the Catholic Church called upon local bishops to develop “particular” catechisms that served the needs of their particular countries and cultures. This catechetical resource is filled with the same doctrines of the faith as the universal Catechism, but it puts them in question-answer format. Its focus is on understanding the truths of the faith, and living them.
The United States bishops also published a companion journal to encourage Catholic adults to apply the truths of faith to their lives.
