Sales Tax Policy

From the Abbey participates in multi-state sales tax collection for online transactions. Many states requires online sales that are not taxed at the time of transaction to be reported by the customer. The multi-state sales tax collection policy moves the responsibility of sales tax reporting to From the Abbey, rather than asking the customers to know the reporting laws for their states.

Sales tax is calculated and collected during checkout through a third-party service called Tax Cloud. Basic information about your order necessary for the proper payment of sales tax is shared with Tax Cloud, including the shipping state and order amount. Unless you share tax exemption information, no personally identifying information is shared with Tax Cloud.
