The Relit Participant Pack is designed to be used in conjunction with the Relit: The Heart of Evangelization DVD.

The Relit training program does not assume that the job of evangelization is only for a few specially trained experts, but for every person in the parish. It trains and teaches the skills so that everything everyone does is “designed” to lead people to encounter Christ, thus creating a culture of evangelization within your parish so youc an begin planting seeds and identifying opportunities you may be overlooking.

Beginning…
with your core team (parish staff, ministry leaders, priests, etc.) receives training on practical examples (such as Transcendentals, Thresholds, etc.) and theological philosophies so you can reach new parishioners that have never been involved before.

Next…
through the training, as well as after, you will begin identifying areas, where you can make the most impact. relit allows you to decide what changes need to be made based on the uniqueness and size of your parish, no matter how small or large.

Then…
with your core team, you will begin creating a plan, which involves much of what your parish is already doing, that will create evangelistic opportunities throughout your parish.

Finally…
with a newly developed lens for evangelization, your parish can begin to not only convert new souls, but provide you the much needed:

~ increase in volunteers
~ increase in parish event participation
~ increase in % of people tithing

Relit: the Heart of Evangelization forms and equips your core faithful theologically, spiritually, and practically so that they can be active evangelists in their own parish and beyond.

Relit is a dynamic training program consisting of 18 DVD-based sessions, with insightful discussion questions and more found in the facilitator and participant guides – all of which can be offered as a weekend retreat! However, with a completely flexible implementation plan, you get to choose to offer the training over a weekend, 6-9 weeks, or 18 weeks. Plus, you only need just one small group of committed staff and parishioners to start – from three to thirty parishioners.

As the evangelistic training in relit is applicable across all your ministries and functions, there’s no need to reschedule studies, programs or formation you are currently presenting. In fact, relit will amplify, clarify and further enhance what you are already doing – giving strength to the renewal that has already begun.
