In Her wisdom, the Church gives us the times of Advent and Lent to remind us what we should be doing as disciples of Jesus, and to recapture elements of our relationship with Him that get lost in the rigor of our everyday lives.
Advent is a time to prepare our hearts to receive Jesus. It’s not just about receiving Jesus at Christmas. It’s also about preparing ourselves to receive Him in a renewed way within our everyday lives.
